2006 Ford Focus change transmission fluid

I removed pan (has sealant for gasket and replacement gasket is rubber is that a problem?) only removed 4 quarts of fluid and has almost 7 quarts how do you get more out?? remove transmission coolant lines? looks like you squeeze coupling and pop it out is it that easy?

will need to drain the torque converter. do this by turning on vehicle for short amount of time and switching through gears to allow fluid to run through and out the converter.
