Ok the other day my car started to miss fire and splutter and drink my fuel like there was no tomorrow, i took it to a garage and got it tested, they told me that it was the COIL PACK , SPARK PLUGS AND LEADS had burnt out, they qouted me £415 i refused and went ahead on renewing them myself, once renewed i tried the car and it was fine after a short time it started agen, i was informed my catalyst converter had blown , so i bought a new one and installed it, everything now sounds fine when i start the car up , no banging no splutter, but then i accelerate , it just wont let me the car looses all power and just wont let me push it , i also renewed the 02 sensor plug aswell hoping that might help , but still nothing, ive checked the spark plugs time and time again but cant find a fault with them, please can you help me

many thanx Gary Patterson

Check the fuel pressure/throttle position sensor/MAP/BARO sensor. Might also want to check the exhaust system for restriction.
