2001 Ford Focus

Well, my car was acting like it needed new spark plugs. So I changed them. Now my car will run fine till I stop. Then when I press the gas pedal it wont go at all for a few seconds then it starts going. Anyone know whats going on? If you can understand what im trying to say.

Were the plugs gapped properly? Are you sure the plug wires are seated on the plugs all the way? Could one of the plugs have cracked while installing, like a hairline crack that's hard to see? Is the service engine light on. If so, get it scanned for trouble codes. Also check all of the vacuum lines for leaks, cracks or maybe one was dislodged when changing the plugs.
