2000 Ford Focus car problem

My car when I try and start it will work fine sometimes and sometimes it will start and then stop and the battery and oil light will come on and it willl like shake and stop. After I do that and restart it it will then start but the driving after is really shaky and bumpy. Do you have any idea what the problem could be?

If the engine dies, it is normal for the oil and battery light to come on, so don't worry about that. As far as the rough running, has the check engine light come on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Have you had the fuel pressure tested? When was the last tune up? Does the car ever run normal?
