1996 Ford Fiesta heater only blowing cold air in car

1996 Ford Fiesta Manual 73000 miles

i have recently bought a fiesta 1.3 n reg 1996.

The heater does not blow hot air into the car only cold, although the temp gage does go to normal after running it.

What could be the problem.

Sounds like you have a blockage in the system try bleeding the cooling system first. If this doesn't work get back to us for more info.

I ahve exactly the same problem, how do I go about bleeding the cooler system? Does this need to be done by a qualified mechanic? Many Thanks

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
