I have a 1979 FORD F-250 with an 351 motor and about 250,000 miles on it. How can I remove a broken spark plug that is in the motor. I used a socket called THE GATOR GRIP and no luck with it. The head of the plug is stripped on two sides.

Hi there,

I have used this method before, not just for spark plugs but for faulty bolt heads as well,

I you have good access to the plug break the plug insulator away (not in side the plug just out side) place a large nut over the plug body and weld inside so that you can put a socket on the nut to up do the broken plug. depending on access to the plug this should work.
