2000 Ford F250 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my service engine light came on and two days later something blew in the engine and started making popping sound and missing. Do you think I blew a piston?

Hi prob not a piston. Find the cyl missing scan for codes. Remove valve cover check rockers and cams. But the scan should get you closer to where the prob is. Then you can determine what it actually is. If you have more questions please write back billymac
