My lower intake manifold is leaking. Is there another option available than buying it from Ford or going to the junk yard?

By your question, I gather that it is cracked/broken.There are aftermarket companies making the intakes for Fords, what you have is a common problem on the 6's and 8's. Try Carquest, they handle Dorman, who makes a decent replacement much less expensive than Ford.
