97 Ford F-150 4.2 V6

I have a problem with my truck. I don't drive it but once a week. The problem that I have is that when I started it up last week It sounds like something broke, its a loud noise under the hood in the engine and gets worse with more RPMS, almost sounds like something rolling around in the valves. Took the valve covers off and don't see anything. If you could help me that would be great. Thank You, Jim

Hey jim I hate to tell you but one thing I know is there was a tsb out on that engine for crankshaft end play that was causing thrust bearing failures, either way get it checked aspa as to not cause any more damage
