2007 Ford F150 no speedo or cruise control

had my truck for 4 months ,got it used ,the speedo and cruise did work but just recently stopped. the mileage isnt increasing either, Is the speedo and odometer a drive cable or electronic? how would i find out if its been broken or disconnected somehow?

There is no cable it is electronic. It is controled mostly by the Rabs valve on the rear end. Some call it a vehicle speed sensor. It is on the top of the rear end just to the left (drivers side) of the center it has a two wire connector on it. This could cause it. Hope this helps. I tried to find a picture of but couldn't. If you need one I will look today at work and try to find one.
