I have a 2003 F-150 that appears to run fine at slow speeds and when cold. Upon acereration to freeway speeds it will sputter and quit when it gets to cruising speed. As I acelerate to pass it will sputter again. It seams to increase as the engine heats up. The Service engine soon light came on the day after it started to sputter. I've changed the fuel filter and pulgs but it still occurs. Could this be an injector issue?

Instead of guessing on parts use the check engien light to your advantage. Take it and get it scanned and post the code back here then we can talk!

The code is PO304:
Misfire detected in the #4 Cylinder. After having it read, I pulled the plug again and replaced it and the spring and rubber cover. The problem still persist.

Switch the plug. Wire, coil with the #1 cylinder. Reset code and see what happens. See if it switches to the #1 cylinder.
