2001 ford f-150 fuel filter

I am having a problem with my truck. From time to time when I am in overdrive, my truck will cut out when I push on the gas. I want to change my fuel filter but can not find it..............Can anyone help out.

ford pickup fuel filters are normally located under the drivers side within the frame rail. it's a little hidden most of them are protected by a metal shield look for the largest steel line in the left side frame rail you should run into it unless it's in the tank
