I have an 2000 F-150 with about 88,000 miles on it. The other day while going to work at about 45 to 50 mph the truck just started to stutter. It only did it for a little while and seems like when I got above 55 it was fine. Did it just once on the way to work and then back home. I was going up hill at the time if that makes much of a difference ( not a huge incline). Just wondering what could be wrong?

Ignition coil or spark plug is most likely. Is your check engine light on?

Unfortunately now we are at the point where the tech needs to road test the vehicle to duplicate the problem. Sorry

Had the same problem with mine.2003 4.6 91000m.
I had 2 cop's with splits in the boots causing a miss fire under load. Plugs were shot to.
