Engine Mechanical problem
2000 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I had spun a coulpe bearings in my engine and had it tor down and machined with new bearings. the guy that is doing the work had it back togther but told me that thier was some chattering coming from the drivers side head and told me that the ead also needed to be replaced, well I had him replace the head and cam and guess what the noise is still their, he is now telling me that it "COULD " be the oil pump what should I do?

I've rebuilt a lot of motors, but I've never heard an oil pump make a "peep". If you just redid the bottom end and not the rings, you may have a cracked piston that's slapping around. Not knowing what all was done to the engine, all I can do is guess.
