2000 Ford F-150 4X4

When I put my truck into 4 low the front wheels are not engaging. The back wheels both spin, front does nothing. Any advice?

Good question, I will have to check when I have someone to watch---I know I tried both yesterday and stayed stuck in the snow---will post update later

I believe both 4 lo and 4 hi are not functioning---still staying stuck---the only thing engaging are the back wheels---
