My transmission won't shift out of overdrive such as when going up a steep incline, or, after slowing down be 45 mph, unless I press the overdrive button or pressing hard on the gas pedal. The engine will cut out and shudder and shake.
I've changed the EGR valve, both forward o2 sensors, all four catalytic converters, plugs and wires. It engine will sometimes cut out and shudder, when in overdrive, on straightaways, when the speed is around 45 or 50 and I give the engine extra gas to speed up. Is this my engine or my transmission?
