Have you installed a radio lately? Check the fuse panel you have a blown fuse I think its # 16 maybe if I can remember right anyway I had a wire or something behind the radio bare that would short out and kill the speedometer. Tranny shifts hard right? If your truck has a lockup torque conveter it will not work either and cause bad gas mileage.
