1987 Ford F-150 the doosy

Okay so I have an '85 f-150 (Carborated) and an '87 f-150 (EFI) I want to switch engines I have heard that it is possible but not probable lots of electrical work would like to know anything that can help to make it a faster smoother job with less cussing if you know what I mean

You putting the carb in the efi vehicle or the efi engine in the carb vehicle?

I am acctually attempting to switch the engines entirerly 87 gets the carb and 85 gets the EFI I have heard that the EFI has a whole lot more electrical then the carb thus making it harder but I dont care about that I will have time

For efi you will have to have a low pressure in tank pump and a high pressure in line pump in order to get it the fuel it needs and yes the electrical is more then the carb but it isnt too much more copmlicated, you will need to transfer just about all of the electrical components.

For the carb you can eliminate the inline pump and you should be able to hook it up and run it, you may have to have a fuel pressure and volume reducer though.
