Do you hear the noise when turning or just going straight, both? Is it following the speed of the truck?
Is it a heavier metallic noise or light tinny sound?

I would start by check for a loose heat sheild. If you tpa on them or the exhaust you may be able to uncover it.
A cv joint click would be consistent with the rpms of the wheels. It's really tough to say without hearing it.
