Does a 2001 sport trac have a cabin filter? Also, my brake pedal makes a noise when pressed and feels like it is resistant to being pressed. The truck feels at times like it is not going to stop and occassionaly will slide one wheel when the pedal is pressed harder.
The wheel slide is only for a split second and is not predictable it is very intermittant but very anoying. I have had the dealer work on it for three days and they have found no problem. Any ideas?

Is the pedal "hard"?

What does the noise sound like? andis the noise from the pedal itself? Hissing?

What wheel is locking up?

I have found some vehicle to list a cabin air filter but not actually have one. Some were an option appearently.
