Every since I got this sport trac @ 95,000 when I turn on the a/c the engine sounds like it's running hot. It is stressing. The temp gauge does not show hot and as soon as I turn the a/c off and drive it for about 5-10 min the stressing sound goes away.
What is it?

Two things. One, the AC puts an extra load on the engine. Second, if the temp under the hood raises, the fan clutch will lock making the fan spin as fast as it can to keep things cool. Does it sound like a wind tunnel?
