Could be the Trans gear wearing out the First one closest to the engine They tend to wear out around that mileage esp if low fluid levels, Another quick test that can rule out the trans is put it in 4x4 low range and drive a little and see if it slips any of it doesn't it's gonna be your transfer case Specifically the upper shift fork that engages 4wd it's a 60$ part or a new Used T-case is around 100$ worth the 40 more if you can find a low mileage one like I did Here is a link to my writeup with my issues and solution plus a video on transfer case teardown Coming soon
