Will not upshift ulless I take my foot off the gas at 2000 r.P.M. - 3000+when cold. It dos'nt do this for the 3-4&4-od shifts. Downshifts ok. Changed filter 3times [500 miles apart] dust level ok. Can't find speck.S for band adjustment [2 bands]. No vac. Mod, detent/kickdown cable seems to be adjusted correctly. No leaks, no sliping. I've pulled heavy loads wilh no problems execpt the shifting problem whitch happens loaded or unloaded. Check engen light comes on but does not stay on & I can't get a code out of the computer for some reason. Can't find any lose or broken wires/connectons/insolation anywhere. I'm told the tranz shifts by computer control do I have a bad sensor/sillonid?

The problem that you are having with your 1994 Ford Exploder is that your Vacuum Module on the Passenger Side of the Transmission has probably ruptured and is causing you the problem.

It is towards the back of the transmission and has ONE vacuum line on it. You will probably have Transmission Fluid dripping out of the hose when you pull it off. This is the Sure Fire way of confirming that it is the Module.

I just replaced my sister's 1994 Exploder Module and it works like a champ now.

There is a screw on the side of it to adjust what RPM / Pressure it will shift at. It is more or less a Trial and Error and to find what works best for you.

I hope that this was of some assistance and good luck.

P.S. Be careful of the Hot Exhaust Pipe there, you will get burned if you do it when it is hot.
