Ok so I replaced the transmission with a salvage. I didnt replace the torque converter when I replaced the tranny. It seemed to run fine for about a week but now it doesnt like to shift outta the first gear when it is cold (rpms running up to like 5 grand before shifting). Once u run it for approximatly 20 mins its shifts nicely. Then wont do it again unless u let it cool for a few hours. We have drained the fluid and replaced it twice trying to flush it but still the same thing. What is your take on the situation?

OK here's the deal, when you replaced the transmission did you flush out the cooling tank and lines to the radiator? If not the contamination that led to the first tranny failure may be causing the second tranny failur, is the check engine light on? If yes, get the codes read and post them here. It sounds like either the pump, or the converter is shaky. Did you drain and flush the old converter? Inspect the shaft? Any damage to the lip seal or pump during install of the converter can cause pump failure too.
