I replaced the battery in my wife's car about 7 months ago and the alternator a little over a year ago. This week she noticed the battery light on at the dash. Today as she was driving, the guage began to sink, the AC began to flutter, the lights dimmed, etc. She turned it off and could not get it to crank again. I checked the connection, and it seems to be tight and corrosion-free. I am able to get it started again, but the needle slowly sinks toward "dead" when I do - especially if I turn on the radio or AC. Any suggestions?

Have the charging system checked out could be that the alternator is not putting or the battery is not taking the charge. Also a parastic drain test to rule out a short circuit in the electrical system.
