Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Ford Expedition V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

computer confirmed 3cyl misfire. Seems to run rough at about 40-45 mph and uphill

Wish I could donate, but am currently out of work, nothing to spare. If I can't fix it myself or real cheap then it will have to sit.

Hi:
Which V8 do you have? Is it a 4.6 or 5.4? If it's the 5.4, most likely the coil pack is bad (about a 60 dollar part). Replace it and the spark plug and it should be fine. The 4.6 is another issue. It may just need new plugs.
