How do you change a timing belt for a 2001 ford escort? We are stranded on a vacation and NEED it repaired quickly! The ODM reading is 127,000 mi. It is an Auto Transmission. There are no sounds or smells and no fluid leaks. It is a 4 cylinder dual over head cam.

What is the engine size and are you sure it’s a DOHC(dual over head cam)and not SOHC
