Engine Performance problem
2002 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I'm looking at my gf's moms 02 escort and she has told me that she has had 5 people look at it and no one know's what's wrong. The engine had been rebuilt. It has 142.129 miles (don't know how many since its been rebuilt) I replaced the plugs and wires and put to the correct firing order. The previous person had them reversed. The check enging light is on, the idle is extremly rough, now stalls out when put in reverse and when the a/c is turned on. When driving it doesn't seem like it wants to accelerate until you take your foot off the pedal.

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.

so I went to autozone and got 9 codes. P0401,P0193,P0102,P0190,P0303,P0304,P0301,P0302,P0171. as far as the misfire in each cylinder, I am assuming the previous owner that rebuilt the engine adjusted the timing and that's why the wires were in the order they were in. I suspect the egr valve needs to be replaced along with the fuel pump and filter. Could I be right in those assumptions?
