About a month ago the car developed a sheet metal sounding rubbing noise coming from the right front of the car. As opposed to a metal grinding, like a brake disc. The noise happens when a left turn is made or there is a passenger in the front right seat. It goes away when accelerating and comes back when cruise speed has been reached or gas pedal is released. Right wheel bearing has been changed, tires and wheels have been rotated, brake caliper shielding has been removed and inspected and reinstalled.

hi kn. you should check your ball joints immediately. very dangerous they can break and you have hardly any steering.if the ball joints are ok then check the backing plate behind the rotor these get bent from ice and snow .if this is the prob you will see a shiny spot where it has rubbed. if none of these then a hub bearing is going bad. good luck billymac
