1994 Ford Escort creaking noise

1994 Ford Escort Front Wheel Drive Manual 100000 miles

I have a 1994 escort cabriolet and when I am driving slow or turning I have a creaking noise like someone stepping on loose floor boards ! Its not there when driving at normal speeds. Please can some1 help. Cheers

Was the front end checked ?
ball joints and tie rod ends
also check the bushings

Thanks 4 reply. It had new wishbones both sides about 1yr ago and I dont do big mileage. I will check the bits in ur diagram tho. Thanks again
