I have a 1993 econoline 150 and the steering is loose, meaning that the front end will veer either way and then you have to catch up with the steering wheel. Is there an ajustment like on old steering boxs or does it need to be changed?

If your front end parts are all good, the box can be adjusted, but I recomend using a torque wrench, you need to take the air bag off the steering wheel, then use the wrench on the nut with the truck on the ground, then check how much force is needed to turn the wheel, agjust the box in small incriments tell it takes about 105 ft lbs! Do not over adjust the box, you can actually cause the gear to saw thru the sector shaft while driving!
