Hi there,

The ECU will be different, when accessing the ecu for code reading, you have to enter a series of digits off the VIN number which will identify the ECU, this will calibrate the scanner to the ecu and not the car, and system errors car occur in the reading, find a correct ecu or have yours tested & repaired.
