My 86 Ford e250 with the 5.0l keeps blowing the brake light/horn fuse and the Blinker/windsheild washer pump fuses. Is this possible because the blinker switch in the steering column is bad? I replace the fuses and they work for a bit maybe for a short while then when im driving they blow the fuses. All the bulbs are good. Please let me know what you think I would be very greatfull. Thanks

if you keep blowing the fuses you have a bare wire going to ground. As it doesn't do it right away i'd check tosee if something inthe van is pinching the wire harness. for the horn it has to be the same thing a bare wire hitting something. If you live in a northern area, check for salt/corrosion eating through the harness due to the age of the vehicle.
