I Came across a good deal on a engine(5.8) out of a 1996 Bronco, I know they changed a few things (MAF and I believe something with the cam.). My bronco needs a new engine, but I cant afford the down time. I would like to rebuilt this engine and drop it in my bronco, I would like some addvice on problems I might encounter, is it even possible?

Yes it is. They are basically the same motor, though as you suspected, the 96 motor is roller block. Which is a plus. The 96 motor also does not have a knock sensor, so if you are keeping your EEC-IV system, you will have to drill and tap a hole for that into the block. But other than that I don't of any other differences in the actual long block.

The fuel delivery, emissions and ignition are another matter. Like before, if you intend to keep your existing EEC-IV (OBD-I) system, the only thing you need is a knock sensor hole, and it's basically plug and play after that.

If you want to switch to EEC-V (OBD-II) with the new block, then you'll have to redo the wiring harness, change out fuel, emission and ignition components.
