Transmission problem
1984 Ford Bronco 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

hi I have a 84 ford bronco 2 every time I put the transmission on I go to turn the engine and it locks up but with the trans. Out I can the the engine by hand ive tried everything taking the trans out and putting the trouqe converter the flywheel first that dosent work ive tried putting on the transmission first but I cant get the engine to turn over with the transmission on please help me thanks a lot

Hi there,

Will the torque converter spin in the transmission? Is the converter locating correctly in the drive as if its not and you try and bolt the engine up you will damage the converter and drive and this could lock the engine,
