I decided to put fog lights onto my vehicle that did not come with factory it has the extension for fog lights. So, I plugged it in then changed out my turn switch for one with a fog light setting for my make and model and put in a fuse for the fog light section in my fuse box. The light still won't come on. Am I missing something or is this a lost cause?

The fog light option has to be activated in the BCM and TIPM in order for the factory lights to operate. Just plugging in the parts won't make it work without that programming step. A dealership or someone with the correct programming software can turn it on.
