I get a warning light that reads. Awd-Sh Diff temp high. It does not happen all the time, sometimes it goes days or weeks with no warnings. Then it happens again, and the bell noise drives me insane. The car is running great. How can I turn it off?

The warning light for "AWD-SH Diff temp high" in your 2005 Acura RL indicates an issue with the temperature of the Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) differential. I would service and check the fluid level.

Viscosity
SAE 90: Above 0°F (-18°C)
SAE80W-90: Below 0°F (-18°C)

Also, we should run the codes to see if any are stored.

Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
