My F350 which is fairly heavy since it carries my "oversized" Lance camper most all the time recently started with the problems in the subject line. I assume that I should have the fluid and filter changed, ASAP. However, since the code is for a Low Pressure Solenoid Valve; should I have a valve kit from Bully Dog installed, or what?

actually have a local trans guy look at this because it can be a short in harness or a trans problem in itself. It is the pressure solenoid which controls the pressure in the trans so it may be either stuck and or not working altogether. Not sure a fluid /filter change will help this unles it's badly discolored. If it's dark brown or black then there has been a failure in the trans like a seal or clutch plates.
