Recently I found a problem with my check engine light after replacing almost everything else besides the wire that was the problem. Had OBD code p481. The wire looked okay upon first look but eventually it was the problem, traced it and replaced the wire that is at the terminal connection that comes before the fuse box. It was so close to the connector, had to wire it on its own, not connected to the terminals. My question is, where can I find the correct terminal and crimper to get the wires connected back properly to the connector? I had an old turn signal switch that I replaced but the terminals weren't long enough. I looked on Amazon, but I didn't want to get the wrong length. Please help!

Hi,

When I need to repair connectors like this, I have always gotten connector repair terminals from a site called, "The Repair Connector Store."

Here is a link to the GM connectors available. I believe you will find what is needed.

https://www.repairconnector.com/categories/ALL-TERMINALS-AND-KITS/GM-PAK%252dCON-OE-TERMINALS/

Please understand that neither 2CarPros.com nor I have anything to do with that site. I don't want you to think I'm getting a kickback because that isn't the case. LOL I'm just making the suggestion because I've dealt with them before with success.

Let me know if they are able to help you.

Take care,

Joe
