The car broke down and the Injection System LED came on and stayed on. The roadside mechanic was able to get the car going again.
The LED does not come on anymore. The car runs, but sounds noisy and "throaty", and the revs must be kept high, or it slows and cuts out.

As it runs, is the engine ok? Is it an injector / sensor issue?

Hi t. Wayz,

Thank you for the donation.

The Check Engine Light showing indicatesa a fault has been detected in the engine management system and since it did not come back after the repairs, the control system should be ok.

However we did not know what was done and if there is any other trouble codes in system so is not able to provide any suggestions.

Get a scan done to retrieve for trouble codes and if any found, we can try to understand what could be wrong.

Our database does not support your vehicle so we might not have much to work on but trouble codes are universal so they can tell us a story.

When idling is poor, it could be due to the idle control system and any vacumn leakages between the Mass Air Flow Sensor can cause performance and idling issues. Check if the Air cleaner hose is secured correctly and if any hoses is/are not connected correctly.
