I just took my car through inspection and failed for emissions. I was told that I need to bring the car back when the computer has recycled. Apparently, when I got a new battery put in over the weekend, the computer reset when they disconnected the battery. The tech at the inspection station told me to find out the recycle time on my Caddy and bring it back. He said you have to drive it a certain amount of time or distance before the computer resets properly. Do you know what the recycle time is for my 1999 Cadillac Deville?

it does it as you drive it learns how you drive while driving. if you wan tit to pass, change oil and oil filter and air filter. drive about 20 miles on expressway then get it tested it should pass if not then get it scanned for codes and check fuel pressure
