P0455 - EVAP Leak Monitor Large Leak Detected
P0442 - EVAP Monitor Medium (0.040) Leak Detected
P0456 - EVAP Monitor Small (0.020) Leak Detected

The engine coolant temperature must be within 10 degrees of ambient/battery temperature, and the sensed Ambient (outside) Temperature must be between approximately 40° F and 90° F. For the monitor run conditions select the EVAP LDP MON PRE-TEST in the DRB III, OBD II Monitors Menu.

EVAP System Hose/Line Leaks
Leak Detection Pump (LDP)
Fuel Filler Cap
EVAP Canister
EVAP Canister Vent Valve
DIAGNOSIS:
You Tube - Chrysler EVAP P0442 P0445 Smoke Diagnostics
1. Verify the fuel level is between 20% to 80% full and the gas cap is correct, and tight.
2. Disconnect the EVAP purge solenoid electrical connector. Pinch off the vent hose after the vent solenoid. Introduce smoke at the service port. Start the engine and test for smoke.
3. Perform a detailed visual inspection of the EVAP system hoses and lines. Especially the purge canister hose harness, at the rear of the vehicle, and the EVAP hoses inside the fender well area.
4. Repair or replace any leaking components.
