Okay, I have random codes po449 po 302 po202. My question is do the EVAP system in the purge control and the number to fuel injector share a wire around or the control or hot the car's been kicking these two codes always back with each other and you also gives a po30 2 which is a misfire and the number two cylinder.

Hi,

The fuel injectors get power from the same supply. The idea that you have a misfire and injector voltage code for the same cylinder, chances are there is an issue with the fuel injector. A misfire caused by something different wouldn't set an injector code, but a faulty injector code will set a misfire code.

As far as power is concerned, each injector has a pink wire that supplies 12v. The power is from fuel injection fuse 20 in the under-hood fuse box. One wire runs to the injectors and is spliced to each injector.

Disconnect injector two, turn the key on and check if there is 12v present at the pink wire. If there is, wiggle the wiring to see if it changes.

Let me know what you find. Note: I attached a schematic below, so you have a reference.

Also, the purge valve does get power via a pink wire, but it comes from a different source. It is an emissions fuse 12 in the under-hood fuse box.

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

joe
