Unfortunately, these cannot be cleaned. Step three has you check the valve for rust and if it is found or if it is stuck, you want to just replace it.
I attached the diag for this code but again, if you have found yours to be stuck you will need to replace it.
If your valve is stuck open, you will want to make sure you don't have raw fuel in the canister, which is likely the cause of the failure. What normally happens with these is the canister gets fuel in them rather than just vapor and this breaks down the charcoal in the canister it gets stuck in the valve causing it to stick.
