I am still trying to solve my problem, this truck seems to have different symptoms all the time, for example, I can start it sometimes and it runs fine, and other times I start up and it feels like it's skipping. The times that I startup and it's fine I can step on the gas with no problem, the other times when the skipping comes back it feels like a misfire problem. Everything in the ignition system has been changed and still have a problem.

Hi,

This could be the result of a few things. For example, a partially plugged catalytic converter, an engine vacuum leak, fuel pressure out of specifications, engine compression, and the list goes on.

Do me a favor. If you haven't already, check to see if there are diagnostic trouble codes stored. This vehicle has an OBD1 system and doesn't require a scan tool. All you will need is a short jumper wire or even a paper clip. Follow the directions in this link and let me know what you find:

Take care,

Joe
