I was all set to buy a remanufactured engine from Tri-star, but they/I had delays and now I am asking more questions.

I feel the need to improve the power on the Bronco. Its such a sleepy dog.

I think I want more than stock. @Maybe 200HP (being old and tired - who knows)
I thought I wanted a mild cam upgrade (Tri-star entry level for $7,000) @maybe 300HP
I saw your 302 to 347 Stroker build and now I have questions.

I am not racing, but definitely want some more get up and go.
I am not competing, my off road isn't seeking the most intense trail, I do tow a few things, including a small/medium boat/camper trailer.

What is your recommendation?
How much was the cost of the 347 Stroker Build? Were you happy with it in the Bronco (I can only imagine yes)

I am a bit budget sensitive, $10k is too much.
What is your opinion on this?

Thanks,
Lee

Hey there! Thanks so much for watching the series!

Honestly, the build we did would be right up your alley. You could even not do the stroker kit and still make 350 or so I would bet. It would be great for your application.

It was like 7000 or so for the build. We have not swapped it in the Bronco just yet but it was a gem on the dyno! It is going to be such a great truck when I get it in there.

Thanks for using 2CarPros!

Best,
Ryan
