Engine swap

2003 MERCEDES BENZ SLK230

One of the cylinders doesn't have any compression and I was going to replace the engine with the engine from my fathers 1999 c230 Kompressor. Will this engine interchange with the 2003 slk230? My fathers is supercharged and I'm not sure if mine is a turbo or supercharged.

Do the engine look the same? I would see if the serial numbers are the same. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can see what's going on, that would be great. You can upload it here with your response. Also wrecking yard have special software that can tell you as well, try calling and asking. Please let us know.
