Hi,

That is a good question. Does the sound seem to come from the engine itself or one of the belt-driven accessories? Are you certain the belt is properly installed? Also, how would you best describe the noise?

If possible, record and upload it for me to hear. Also, pay attention if it seems louder at different points. For example, is it louder at the top of the engine, the bottom, or either of the sides?

As a test, you may want to remove the accessory drive belt and start the engine (only for a few seconds) to see if the sound is gone. If it is, recheck all belt-driven accessories and make sure the belt is routed properly.

Let me know.
