Engine power shuts off

My car speed was slowing down while my dashboard gas indicator was going wild.

Did the engine shut off or did it just lose power?

It sounds like we have a possible electrical issue or even a fuel issue but we need to try and get a little more info on what could be happening.

The next thing we need to do is check for codes. Hopefully we have something to go on with this.
