Engine is overheating but heater is blowing cold air. I replaced the thermostat and the heater core, still happening.

We need to start with finding out if the engine is actually overheating or is the temperature gauge just rising?

You can use an infrared temperature meter to determine if the engine is actually getting hot unless the coolant is boiling over.

If the engine is actually overheating then we need to ensure the cooling fans are coming on and the coolant is not low. Here is a guide that will run through the basics. Also, we need to check for blockages in the cooling system and you can use the temperature meter for that as well. You should have equal temp all around the motor and cooling system.

Let me know and we can go from there. Thanks
